- Note: Minimum Requirements Are: Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP and IE5 or later.
2. If you get an ActiveX error message, do this:
Your Internet security settings are to High. This setting will prevent ActiveX controls from running. In order to install the toolbar, you must have ActiveX controls enabled. To do this:
- Go to Tools > Internet Options
- Click on the Security Tab
- Click on the Internet icon in the window
- Change your security setting to Medium:
- If you see a sliding bar, move it to Medium.
- If you see custom setting information, click on the Default Level button and then move the slider to Medium.
- If you find that your security setting is already Medium, skip to step 6 below.
- Click OK
- Install the Toolbar again.
3. Why do I get a Security Warning that asks me if I want to install and run the toolbar?
Your security settings are set so that you are prompted before any programs are installed on your machine. The dialog box is just asking you to confirm
that you want to install the toolbar.
4. If you can't find the toolbar, try this:
If you do not see the toolbar, go to View > Toolbars and click on ReaLook.
Please Note: Some earlier IE 5.0 have a known problem with their support for toolbars. The ReaLook Toolbar may be
listed under the name 'Radio' (usually the second such listing). This may also keep the ReaLook Toolbar from initially appearing when it is first installed. Go to View > Toolbars and click on the second radio option.
If you are using IE 6 and you are experiencing trouble downloading the ReaLook Toolbar, please make sure the following item is enabled in your browser: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Enable third party browser extensions. This will correct the problem that causes any errors to appear.
5. If you have problems with Windows NT or 2000, try this:
If you're running WindowsNT or Windows 2000, verify that you have
the Administrative privileges required to install applications. Check with your
system administrator if you are uncertain about the status of your system privileges.
6. How do I uninstall the ReaLook Toolbar?
To uninstall the ReaLook Toolbar go to the "Add/Remove Programs" utility in the Windows Control Panel:
- To open the Windows Control Panel, click the "Start" button and select "Settings".
- Click open the "Control Panel" folder and double-click the "Add/Remove Programs" entry.
- From "Add/Remove Programs", scroll through the list of programs and highlight "ReaLook Toolbar".

7. How can I find out when a new version is available?
The ReaLook Toolbar automatically updates itself when a new version is available.
8. After installing the ToolBar, my other ToolBar has disappeared:
